A member of the cruciferous vegetable family, Broccoli is nutrient dense, extremely high in antioxidants and has great cancer fighting attributes. Contains high levels of a cancer fighting chemical called glucoraphanin and myrosinase which is released when chewed and together work to produce sulphoraphane. 3-4 day old sprouts supply the optimum levels of glucoraphanin, approximately 20 times more than in fully grown broccoli. A nutritious sprout that is packed with minerals and anti-oxidants.

This sprout has a mild, savoury flavour and a delicious crunch, with a taste similar to radish.

A cool weather sprout, if you are sprouting it in warmer conditions, rinse with cool water more often for better results.
